STARTING SCOPE
Begin with a specific commercial priority.
An initial scope might be to develop selected Polish OEM accounts for one component range alongside existing distribution, open a new application segment, or strengthen a partner route that is not being actively developed today. Before starting, we agree the products, target customers, channel boundaries, responsibilities and review points. This gives both teams a clear focus for the work.
Define the starting mandate
Before the work begins, the starting mandate defines:
01
the products and applications in scope;
02
the customer groups, selected accounts or commercial routes to develop;
03
the territory, channel boundaries and existing relationships that must be respected;
04
the responsibilities of Nexus and the manufacturer’s team;
05
the initial review period and the decisions to be made at that point.
DELIVERABLES
What your team receives
The exact outputs depend on the agreed scope, but a typical starting mandate provides:
01
a prioritised view of the accounts, customer groups or commercial routes worth developing;
02
qualification of the strongest candidates through available market information and direct commercial discussions;
03
active commercial conversations with the relevant decision-makers;
04
a transparent opportunity pipeline showing product fit, current status, barriers, next action and responsibility;
05
market feedback and recommendations on where to continue, adjust or stop investing.
These outputs support commercial decisions. They are not guarantees of orders, signed distributors or customer conversion.
INITIAL PHASE
Start with a defined initial phase
The relationship is designed for long-term commercial development, but it can begin with a defined initial phase around one or more agreed priorities. During this phase, Nexus validates the strongest commercial routes, develops the relevant accounts and builds the initial opportunity pipeline. At the review point, both teams decide whether to continue the current scope, concentrate on the strongest route or expand the mandate.

COMMERCIAL REVIEWS
Review commercial progress
The objective is to grow sales and strengthen the manufacturer’s position in the market. In technical B2B, that progress develops before an order is placed.
We look for evidence that an opportunity is becoming more real:
a relevant application has been confirmed
the right decision-makers are engaged
a product is entering evaluation
a quotation has been requested
a partner has committed to developing selected accounts
an existing customer is moving towards broader cooperation
Reviews focus on what is progressing, what is blocking progress and where commercial effort should be concentrated next. Nexus brings local market feedback and recommendations; the manufacturer provides the product, technical and commercial decisions needed to move opportunities forward. If a route is not producing enough evidence, we reassess the account, channel or approach rather than continue activity for its own sake.
ONGOING PARTNERSHIP
An ongoing commercial partnership with a clear scope
A monthly retainer covers an agreed area of commercial development in Poland. The fee depends on the size of the scope, the products and customers involved, the level of local support needed and the responsibility Nexus takes for developing the market. Before we start, we agree which products and market priorities to focus on, who is responsible for what, and how we will review progress. If it makes sense, we can also add a performance-based fee. The cooperation can start with a focused scope and grow over time - for example to more customers, applications, sales channels, field activity or selected CEE markets.
